South Africa’s foreign affairs department identified her as the first South African woman to complete the three swims. The English Channel swim on 3 August 2018 took 16 hours 7 minutes 50 seconds. The Catalina federation records 13 hours 13 minutes 43 seconds on 18 June 2025. In New York the 2 August 2023 Manhattan circuit took 8 hours 35 minutes 50 seconds.
