The Toronto Waterfront Marathon takes an autumn tour of downtown Toronto and its lakeside neighbourhoods, finishing near City Hall. The road course is largely flat, although the overpasses still expect their share of the work. It is a different race from Toronto's spring marathon, a useful distinction before booking flights. General entry for the 2026 full marathon is sold out. Runners already entered have a six-hour limit and an 8:00 am start, with elite wheelchairs setting off just ahead.
