The County Marathon
Wellington to Picton, Ontario, Canada
The County Marathon follows roads through Prince Edward County from Wellington to Picton, passing lakes and villages on relatively flat terrain. It is a point-to-point race, so the finish is somewhere else even if the car would prefer otherwise. The individual full marathon welcomes runners and wheeled athletes, but not walkers, and has a six-hour limit. General places for 2026 are sold out. The relay and half marathon have separate entries, so check the distance carefully when future registration opens.
