Brighton Marathon

Brighton and Hove, East Sussex, England, United Kingdom

Brighton Marathon starts in Preston Park and takes its road runners through the city and along the seafront. Sea views do not, regrettably, come with a guarantee of flat ground: the route has four main climbs within the first 11 miles. That makes a measured start sensible. Standard and charity entries are available through London Marathon Events, with pacers and refreshment stations on course. The beach village provides a place to find supporters once the running is done.
