A champion chasing a Boston first. A trio of Greek runners racing history. A Danish triathlete returning to the deep end. Across nine big races this weekend, the names on the start lists tell more than one story.
For a race that finishes with a marathon, IRONMAN Florida asks some of its toughest questions hours before anyone puts on their running shoes. Magnus Ditlev, Sam Long and Cam Wurf headline a fascinating men’s field, while Holly Lawrence and Alanis Siffert add considerable pedigree to the women’s race. The real contest may be how intelligently they handle the open-water swim and the wind-exposed bike.
