About West Norfolk AC
West Norfolk Athletic Club began in the late 1960s, first using a local school playing field before moving to Lynnsport in King’s Lynn in 1991. The club has developed junior, senior and masters athletics through regional leagues, with disabled athletes also contributing to its county and national performances.
Its history includes cross-country courses at Bawsey sandpits and Houghton Hall, as well as road-running events. Today its own programme includes the Keith Ward indoor meeting and Fighter 5K at Great Massingham airfield. Members also support local parkrun and the King’s Lynn GEAR 10K and take part in team events such as the Round Norfolk and Hereward relays.
