About Ystrad Mynach Running Club
Ystrad Mynach Running Club, known as Ystrad Runners, was formed by local people in 2016. Based in Ystrad Mynach, Caerphilly, Wales, it welcomes runners with different levels of experience, from beginners to those training for demanding races.
Club nights begin at Caerphilly Council’s Tŷ Penallta on Tredomen Business Park. Monday and Thursday outings use Parc Penallta, local cycle paths and roads, with runners meeting ahead of the half-past-six start. The club’s member stories also reflect interests in longer mountain events and local road races.
Contact the club by email to discuss joining and the right group. Full membership is currently restricted to adults. Under-eighteens may take part in sessions only while accompanied throughout by a parent or guardian, who remains responsible for them; families should confirm the arrangement in advance.
