Heath Massive Run Club began in Cardiff, Wales, in 2015. Some of its original runners wanted to improve, while others were working towards their first Cardiff Half Marathon. The volunteer-led club continues to combine running support with a social community, using Heath Park as its meeting point.
The published timetable includes Tuesday evening, early Thursday morning and Sunday morning runs from Heath Park car park. Qualified coaches and run leaders support the sessions. Membership is for adults aged eighteen and over, and the regular joining page asks applicants to be comfortable running 5km already.
That starting point matters for anyone taking their first steps into running: a reference to Couch to 5K on the website is not confirmation of an open course. The club’s enquiry email and contact form can clarify suitable options. Membership includes Welsh Athletics registration, and the club publishes its welfare contacts and policies alongside joining information.
