About Eryri Harriers

Eryri Harriers was formed at the Royal Victoria Hotel in Llanberis on 7 September 1977. Ken Jones, then organiser of the Snowdon Race, called the meeting that established the club and its first officers. Those origins connect Eryri closely with mountain running, although its members also compete on roads and over cross-country.

The club welcomes runners from across North Wales and further afield. Its training programme includes hill sessions, longer runs, junior activities and Plodders groups, alongside club races and championships. Different sessions suit different experience levels, so new runners should check the programme and contact the relevant road, mountain, cross-country or junior representative before joining in.
