About Deeside AAC
Deeside Amateur Athletic Club is based at Coleg Cambria’s Deeside site in Connah’s Quay. Its facilities include an eight-lane outdoor track, field-event areas and a six-lane indoor sprint straight. That combination supports year-round training, with volunteer coaches helping athletes develop across track and field, cross-country and road running.
The club welcomes athletes from age nine through to masters. Team opportunities include the Cheshire League, Youth Development League, Northern League, North Wales cross-country leagues and Borders road league. Families and other volunteers also help with officiating at meetings. Membership enquiries should go through the club’s contact page before a newcomer attends training.
