Celtic Tri was formed in 2005 by triathletes from Swansea and Neath Port Talbot who wanted to share training, experience and company. It grew into a club drawing members from across South and West Wales, including beginners, long-distance racers and athletes competing in age-group teams. The club received Welsh Triathlon’s Club of the Year award in 2008.
Its programme brings together pool and open-water swimming, cycling and running, with a separate Celtic Juniors section. Club events include the Neath Valley Triathlon, Stephen Lewis TriStars Aquathlon and Pembrey Junior Duathlon. Prospective members can use the published contact page to discuss their experience and identify suitable sessions across the club’s different venues.
