Builth & District Running Club was established in 2006 in Builth Wells, Powys. It combines organised racing with sociable local running and supports the wider community through Groe parkrun and beginner groups. During the 2020 lockdown it launched the BaDRelay15 challenge, which returned for further editions and connected teams of runners without an entry fee.
The club meets at the Cattle Market in Builth Wells, with Wednesday runs split into ability groups and Tuesday coaching that changes between track work and hills with the season. A monthly session takes place at the athletics track in Brecon. Newcomers can try two sessions, then use the online membership form or contact the club by email. Members also have opportunities to run in Herefordshire cross-country events and the Gwent League.
