About Afan Valley Swimming Club
Afan Valley Swimming Club is based at Afan Valley Swimming Pool on School Road in Cymmer, South Wales. The pool’s published development pathway offers progression from learning to swim towards club swimming, with competitive and non-competitive options. Families should ask the club which sessions suit a swimmer’s experience; pool lessons and club membership are separate enquiries.
The club also appears in Welsh Athletics’ directory, which lists its social-running venue and public membership and welfare contacts. This gives the club a place in local land-based activity as well as swimming. New members can approach the membership secretary for current arrangements, while anyone seeking introductory swimming lessons should use the pool’s own booking information.
