About Afan Nedd Tawe Schools District
Afan Nedd Tawe Schools District brings together school athletics in Swansea and Neath Port Talbot, Wales. Welsh Athletics lists track and field and cross-country as its disciplines, with white team vests carrying red and black hoops. It is a school-district team, not an ordinary public running club.
The district sits between school competition and Welsh national school championships. Its published 2026 programme included a Swansea qualifying meeting and school-team Cup and Plate qualifiers in Neath. These are examples of the district's competition role, not a weekly training timetable.
Families should start with their school's athletics or PE staff and the published schools contact to ask about eligibility and selection. No permanent district clubhouse or open-membership training programme was confirmed, so a national-office address should not be treated as a local meeting point.
