About Warrington Road Runners
Warrington Road Runners has been active since 1977, bringing social and competitive runners together in Warrington, Cheshire. Its programme combines road routes around the south of the town with track sessions at Victoria Park, cross-country leagues and club championship races. Runners can work towards age-related standards or simply enjoy regular company on a run.
Broomfields Leisure Centre in Appleton is a regular meeting point, while the track and other sessions have their own arrangements. The club also runs the Warrington 10K and organises social events. New runners can contact the chair or membership secretary about trying a session; its website asks participants to reserve training places through RunTogether. It is distinct from Warrington Athletic Club and Warrington Running Club.
