About Warrington A C
Warrington Athletic Club traces its origins to 1884 and provides opportunities for athletes from Warrington and the surrounding area to train and compete. Its programme spans track and field, cross-country and road running, with members having represented both the club and their country beyond the local athletics scene.
Coaches, officials and committee volunteers keep the club’s training and competition programme running. Its website brings together event information, club records, welfare guidance and the people behind the club. Anyone considering joining should contact the club directly for a suitable group and current training arrangements. This is a separate organisation from Warrington Road Runners and Warrington Running Club.
