About Tried and Tested
Tried & Tested Triathlon Club was formed in April 2012 in Dungarvan, County Waterford, Ireland. It serves the wider West Waterford area, bringing together people interested in triathlon and duathlon as well as those who enjoy swimming, cycling or running without racing.
Open-water swimming is a significant part of club life, making use of the local coastline. Junior membership began in January 2017 for children aged eight and upwards. The published junior programme now describes monthly training days shared with clubs from Clonmel, Youghal, Waterford and Tramore, rotating between the participating groups.
Membership is arranged alongside a Triathlon Ireland licence. Newcomers should email the club or contact its official Facebook page to discuss a suitable first session. Current training updates are shared in the members’ WhatsApp group, so confirm the venue, booking and any swimming requirements before attending.
