About Tri Limits TC
Tri Limits TC was established in 2016 after its founders had spent several years competing in and organising triathlons. Based across Mid Ulster, Northern Ireland, it draws members from communities around Cookstown, Dungannon and Magherafelt. The club uses local sports facilities rather than one permanent training base.
Swimming, cycling and running sessions cater for a range of abilities, with members also taking part in road and trail running. The club hosts Tri Tyrone, which staged the Irish Middle Distance National Championship in 2025. Its beginner programmes include Women4Tri, introduced in 2019, and New2Tri courses; the published spring 2026 course is a past programme, so future dates should be checked with the club.
The youth section is for children aged eleven by December and under eighteen, with seasonal swimming subject to a swim test. Membership and the necessary training or race licence are handled through Triathlon Ireland. Prospective members can use the club enquiry email to choose a group. The lake shown on the contact page is private and is not open for unarranged access.
