About Track Academy
Track Academy was founded in 2007 by Connie Henry and is based at Willesden Sports Centre in Brent, London, England. The charity uses athletics alongside education and mentoring, supporting young people's development beyond their performances on the track. Henry led the organisation until stepping back in 2024.
Training serves ages five to twenty-three. Younger children develop running, jumping and throwing skills, while older groups receive event-specific coaching in sprints, middle distance, jumps and throws. Sessions run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with age groups following different timetables.
The wider programme includes academic support, life skills and holiday activities. Specialist SEND sessions are also advertised, and the charity describes help with participation costs for eligible families.
