About Torbay Tri Club
Torbay Tri Club began in 2013 as part of Torbay Athletic Club before becoming independent. Based in Torbay, Devon, England, it brings together adults interested in swimming, cycling, running and triathlon, from people trying multisport to experienced competitors.
The club is run by volunteers and describes a programme of coached sessions, social rides, transition practice and strength work. It is affiliated to British Triathlon and UK Athletics and was named South West Club of the Year in 2022. Its website states that it does not currently have a junior section.
Community activity includes foodbank runs, litter picking and parkrun volunteering, alongside training and racing. Members use the club website to book sessions. Non-members can email the public enquiry address to ask about trying the club and confirm the right venue, equipment and session for their experience.
