About Tinahely Tri Club
Tinahely Tri Club is based in Tinahely, County Wicklow, Ireland. It offers a local route into triathlon, bringing swimming, cycling and running interests together. Wicklow County Tourism’s June 2024 introduction describes a welcome for both complete beginners and experienced athletes, with membership available through Triathlon Ireland.
The club has also been associated with Tinahely’s annual duathlon. A community announcement for the eighth edition, scheduled for 5 May 2019, advertised a 5K run, 20K cycle and final 3K run. This is a dated part of the club’s local event history, rather than a statement that the same race or course is currently available.
A public club enquiry email is listed by Triathlon Ireland and the tourism directory. Prospective members should ask about current sessions, training venues and the appropriate membership route before attending. The club website was unavailable during review, so no present-day pool location, weekly timetable or junior coaching arrangement is assumed from older material.
