About Thornbury RC
Thornbury Running Club is based in Thornbury, South Gloucestershire, England. Its Thursday evening runs bring together people at different paces, with groups ranging from quicker runners to those who prefer a gentler outing. The regular meeting point is Thornbury Leisure Centre.
Tuesday sessions focus on coached efforts, with arrangements shared through the club's WhatsApp groups. Sunday runs often meet by the Scout Hut on Park Road, so the leisure centre is not the starting point for every activity. Prospective runners should check the session details before travelling.
The club organises the Riverbank Rollick, Thornbury 10K and Oldbury 10, giving its members a role in the wider local running calendar. Newcomers can arrange a first visit through the website and try a month before joining. Separate membership and beginner enquiry addresses help runners find the right starting point.
