About Tewkesbury Running Club
Tewkesbury Running Club began as Tewkesbury AC in 1983 and affiliated to the Midland Counties in 1984. It adopted its current name in 2015 to reflect its focus on running. Based in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, England, it also draws members from neighbouring towns and villages.
Monday and Wednesday sessions offer different paces and distances. The published meeting point is the Morrisons car park near the cash machines and café, although summer Wednesday venues can vary. Regrouping helps runners stay together, and a monthly coached session adds work on technique.
Members take part in local and regional events, including county competition and the Cotswold Way Relay, alongside the social side of club life. Prospective members can try a couple of sessions before committing. The membership email and joining form provide a way to introduce yourself and confirm the latest session arrangements.
