About Templemore Triathlon Club
Templemore Triathlon Club launched in late 2014 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It sits within the Templemore Aquatic Sports Club community, whose activities range from learning to swim to recreational and competitive aquatic sport. The triathlon section introduced an indoor winter league in 2017.
Members train in swimming, cycling and running, with coached swim sessions advertised for Tuesday evenings, Friday mornings and Sunday mornings. Bike and run squads meet weekly, alongside a monthly spin session. Some members race around Ireland and further afield, while others join primarily for regular training and company.
Newcomers may try up to three sessions before taking out membership. Joining is processed through Triathlon Ireland and requires the appropriate training or racing licence as well as club membership. Contact the triathlon section to arrange a first session and check the current venue and timetable; its dedicated Facebook page carries updates separate from the swim school's notices.
