About Telford Harriers
Telford Harriers was established in 1984 and offers road, trail and cross-country running in Telford, Shropshire, England. Club nights provide several paced groups alongside technique and interval work. Its wider programme includes the Ironbridge Half Marathon, social outings and winter cross-country leagues. Couch to 5K courses finish with a supported graduation at Telford parkrun, giving beginners a shared goal before moving into regular club running.
Tuesday sessions meet at Horsehay Golf Club on Wellington Road, while Thursday runs start at Telford Park School in Stirchley. These are two distinct training venues. The club asks prospective members to email before a free trial so they can be matched with an appropriate run leader. Joining then uses an online form and the club's England Athletics membership process. The venue page and current notices are the best references for a first visit, especially when darker evenings require reflective clothing or lights.
