About Teesdale AC
Teesdale Athletic Club is based around Barnard Castle and the surrounding Dales in County Durham, England. Established in 1984, it offers road running, cross-country, fell and trail running, with junior membership currently starting at age eleven.
Regular coached sessions take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The training page asks prospective runners to contact the club first and describes a starting level of being comfortable jogging continuously for around 45 minutes. High-visibility clothing is required for its sessions, and members use the club's sports-management app for bookings.
Occasional social runs complement the structured programme and help members find company for longer outings. The club has offered Couch to 5K in the past, but its reviewed training page states that none is currently running. The membership secretary and public contact form can help newcomers check suitable opportunities before attending.
