About Team COCO
Team COCO is the virtual running club of COCO, the children's charity with an enquiry office in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. It brings together runners who want to support the charity through races and sporting challenges, without needing to attend a single local training base.
The club welcomes a range of running experience, from beginners to ultra-distance runners. Members choose where and when to run, while newsletters, a member community and virtual competitions help them stay connected. Its website explicitly describes members competing with one another across the world.
Team COCO is affiliated through England Athletics. The published constitution connects membership with event information, training advice and fundraising for the charity's work overseas. Interested runners can use the joining information or contact the charity team; charity race places are subject to their own arrangements, not an automatic entitlement.
