About Team Anstey Amblers and Runners
Team Anstey Amblers and Runners was founded by Geoff Roberts on 30 October 2014. Based in Anstey, Leicestershire, England, the club welcomes runners with different experience and ambitions, from newcomers learning to run to members preparing for longer races.
Tuesday and Thursday sessions usually meet at the memorial beside Anstey Jubilee Hall on Stadon Road. Training includes pacing, hills, intervals and out-and-back runs, with the precise programme and meeting instructions shared through the club's Spond group. Weekend outings are also arranged between members.
Beginners can try a month of sessions before deciding whether to join. The club also offers ten-week Couch to 5K courses, finishing with a group parkrun outing.
