About Swanley & District AC
Swanley and District Athletics Club was founded in 1989 and welcomes runners aged over sixteen in Swanley, Kent, England. Its members combine social running with competition, taking on distances from five kilometres to marathons. The club offers a local setting for people who want company, regular training or a new running goal.
The clubhouse is in Swanley Park, behind the café, with access from New Barn Road. The published programme includes Sunday runs and coached Wednesday sessions. This park base is different from the older Hextable street address in the directory and gives newcomers a more useful starting point for arranging a visit.
Joining information and the 2026–27 application form are available on the club's documents page. Membership options include first-claim and second-claim arrangements and concessions for eligible applicants, while England Athletics registration is addressed separately. Check the current form and session instructions before attending, particularly if you are unsure which training group matches your experience.
