About Swale Combined AC
Swale Combined Athletics Club was established in 1986 and serves Sittingbourne and the wider Swale area of Kent, England. Running, jumping and throwing form the core of its programme, with younger athletes building broad movement skills before progressing towards more specialised events and competition.
Summer training takes place at Cromers Corner Playing Field, while the winter programme uses the gym and sports hall at Fulston Manor School. Monday and Wednesday sessions cover a range of events; more specialist sessions and occasional visits to tracks at Canterbury or Ashford are arranged by coaches. Families should ask which group and venue are appropriate before attending.
The club marked its fortieth year with a campaign to improve its long-jump runway in partnership with Fulston Manor Academies Trust. The appeal was recorded as successfully funded on 11 April 2026; that does not establish that construction was complete. Public enquiries go to the club's athletics email, with current session details on its website.
