About Sutton in Ashfield Harriers & AC
Sutton in Ashfield Harriers and Athletics Club serves runners and track-and-field athletes in Nottinghamshire, England. Despite the club name, its published training venue is at Ashfield School on Sutton Road in Kirkby-in-Ashfield. The track provides a base for a programme covering a range of athletic events.
Tuesday and Thursday sessions include introductory athletics for younger children and groups developing running, jumping and throwing skills. The club also advertises adult endurance and sprint training, with specialist opportunities such as hurdles and field events available through the appropriate coaches. This allows athletes to explore different disciplines before concentrating on particular events.
Newcomers should use the contact page to describe their age and interests so the enquiry reaches the relevant group. The published arrangements differ between age bands and events, rather than offering one undifferentiated session for everybody. The school track is the training location; visitors should follow the club's current access and session instructions.
