About Sudbury Court Running Club

Sudbury Court Running Club was formed in May 1999 from runners who had been meeting informally around Wembley and Harrow in north-west London, England. The original group included local Serpentine members, but the new club developed its own identity and took its name from the sports club where it was then based.

After several changes of venue, the club now meets at Wembley Cricket Club. Tuesday runs begin together at an easy pace before splitting into different distances. Winter routes generally use lit roads, while summer outings can explore Horsenden Hill and canal paths.

The emphasis accommodates both runners with competitive goals and people who want regular exercise and company. Newcomers can arrange a trial through the committee email or website form, and the club also uses Spond. The current meeting point is in Wembley, not the Ruislip address retained in the older directory record; ask for directions and the day's start time before travelling.
