About Stubbington Green Runners
Stubbington Green Runners was founded in 1985 on England's Hampshire coast, between Portsmouth and Southampton. It draws members from Stubbington, Lee-on-the-Solent, Titchfield, Whiteley and neighbouring communities, offering both social running and opportunities to compete.
The programme separates group runs from coached sessions. Routes and meeting points vary: published examples include Meadowside in Whiteley, Crofton Community Centre in Stubbington and Titchfield Community Centre. Pace and distance groups, hill work, speed sessions and a club time trial offer different ways to develop, with the rolling training schedule giving the practical details.
The club participates in local road and cross-country leagues and organises the Stubbington 10k. Family-friendly social events complement the racing calendar. Prospective members can use the current membership form or email the secretary, while training questions have a dedicated coaching address. Crofton is one regular meeting point rather than the start of every session.
