About Stourbridge RC
Stourbridge Running Club is based at the War Memorial Ground in Amblecote, Stourbridge, England, sharing the wider sporting site with the town's cricket and football clubs. Its regular running community combines local routes, competitive opportunities and time together after training.
Monday and Wednesday evening runs start from the cricket club. Pace groups range from beginners and returners to faster runners, with distances varying accordingly. Summer routes make use of off-road paths, while winter outings generally stay on local streets. Coached interval sessions at the Dell Stadium provide a separate track option.
The club enters regional cross-country leagues and road relays, alongside members' individual race choices. Wednesday evenings often continue in the cricket-club bar, giving people from different groups a chance to meet. New runners can make contact or try club nights before committing to membership. General and safeguarding enquiries have separate public email addresses; the cricket club is a meeting base, not the running club's identity.
