About Stockton Striders AC
Stockton Striders Athletics Club was formed in 2014 and held its first training session in January 2015. Based in Stockton-on-Tees, England, it draws runners from across Teesside, including Thornaby, Norton, Billingham and neighbouring towns. Volunteer coaches organise its regular training.
Tuesday and Thursday club nights meet at Stockton Town Football Club on Bishopton Road West. Groups are arranged around members' five-kilometre pace, and participants are expected to be able to cover that distance without stopping. The club combines training with local races and social activities, while allowing members to choose how frequently they attend.
