About South of England Track and Field AC
South of England Track and Field AC, known as SETAFA AC, has offered an athlete-centred athletics programme since 2020. Based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England, it brings together track-and-field disciplines with different coaching and membership options.
The Mountbatten Centre is its main training facility. The club also identifies Trafalgar School for winter work and Portsdown Hill for hill sessions. Coaching provision spans speed, endurance, hurdles, jumps and throws, with introductory Quadkids activity offering a route into the sport.
Prospective members should discuss their event interests and training needs before choosing a membership. The club distinguishes its Academy package, which includes paid coaching, from non-Academy membership where coaching arrangements are separate. Its published email and membership enquiry form provide direct ways to establish the right option, available sessions and the venue to attend.
