About Snaith & Cowick Running Club
Snaith and Cowick Running Club serves the Snaith and Cowick community in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It combines inclusive group running with opportunities to work on technique and personal goals, welcoming both established runners and people relatively new to the sport.
Thursday club outings start at Snaith Playing Fields and offer a shorter route of about five kilometres alongside a longer option of roughly five to six miles. Tuesday structured sessions meet separately by the Croda exit gate on Lodge Lane. Warm-ups, designated group leaders and cool-downs form part of the club-run format.
Members can also take part in away runs, championships and handicap races, with first-claim and second-claim membership options. The playing fields provide parking, changing rooms and toilets, but are not the start for every session. Newcomers can email the public club address or use the website form to check arrangements; the published evening gathering time is 6.50pm for a 7pm start.
