About Skipton AC
Skipton AC brings together adult and junior runners in Skipton, North Yorkshire, England. Its interests cover road running, trails, fell running and cross-country, with a programme that mixes sociable local outings and more structured training. Aireville Park is a published meeting point for the club.
Adult groups run on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with routes commonly between four and seven miles and options for different paces. Tuesday sessions include intervals, hills, sprints and drills. Wednesday outings have an off-road social emphasis, while club championships, handicaps and parkrun challenges provide further ways to take part.
The junior section welcomes ages six to seventeen for Tuesday sessions led by qualified, DBS-checked coaches. Adult enquiries go to the senior club email; families should use the junior route to discuss availability. For Tuesday and Thursday meetings, the website identifies the picnic bench by Aireville Park's children's play area. Confirm the right group and start time before a first visit.
