About Silverdale RC
Silverdale Running Club has been part of the community in Silverdale, Staffordshire, England, since 1983. Its home is Silverdale Football Club, where runners and walkers meet for exercise and return afterwards to the clubhouse. The club welcomes people beginning their running journey as well as experienced distance runners.
Tuesday and Thursday evenings bring a mix of interval training, social runs and walking groups, with the published meeting time at 6.30pm. The emphasis extends beyond race preparation: parkrun visits, social evenings and shared meals give members ways to get to know one another away from a structured session.
A volunteer committee manages the club, and dedicated membership, secretary and welfare email addresses provide useful routes for enquiries. Annual membership includes England Athletics affiliation. Prospective members can ask which group best fits their experience and check the session through the official Spond link before attending; membership details and the application form are published on the club website.
