About Sedgley Striders
Sedgley Striders serves runners around Sedgley and Dudley in the West Midlands, England. The club publishes its current meeting point at the Three Crowns on Dovedale Road in Lanesfield, Wolverhampton, rather than the older address retained in some directory material.
Tuesday and Thursday evening gatherings provide the regular club-running framework. The club also runs beginner programmes: its ten-week early-2026 course culminated in a first five-kilometre run at East Park in March. That completed course is evidence of beginner support, not an invitation to join a course already under way.
The membership information uses an April annual cycle with England Athletics registration included. New runners should email the club about the right starting group and confirm the meeting arrangements before attending. A further beginner course was being planned for January 2027 when checked, but its availability should be confirmed rather than treated as a guaranteed open booking.
