About Sale Harriers Manchester
Sale Harriers traces its formation to 1910, when local church clubs and gymnasiums came together. Crossford Bridge became its home in the 1950s, and the club now works across that Sale base, Wythenshawe Park and Sportcity in Manchester.
Its programme spans track and field, endurance running, cross-country and junior athletics. The three venues serve different groups, so check the relevant session before travelling. The club's life-members list reflects both international achievement and decades of work by coaches and volunteers.
