Ryston Runners began at Ryston End in Downham Market in 1986. What started as a running club developed into a broader athletics club serving West Norfolk, including the Downham Market and King’s Lynn areas. Its programme now combines road running, cross-country and track and field.
The club caters for juniors from school Year 4, seniors and masters, and prospective members can arrange a taster session before joining. It also stages its own events, including the Cross Country Grand Prix and the Wissey Festival’s five- and ten-mile races.
