About Rutland Running & Triathlon Club
Rutland Running and Triathlon Club began in May 2000 as Rutland Running Club, with twenty original members in Braunston-in-Rutland, England. It later broadened into swimming, cycling and running and describes affiliations with England Athletics and Triathlon England. Oakham and the surrounding Rutland countryside provide its regular training setting.
The published programme includes structured Tuesday running from Catmose Sports Centre and Wednesday social runs from changing locations. Thursday running also uses Catmose, with a summer Rutland Round series adding longer local exploration. Swimming and cycling enquiries are directed to the club secretary.
