About Running Somewhere Else
Running Somewhere Else was formed in 2007 by friends who enjoyed running together in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England. The club welcomes adults aged eighteen and over for social running, fitness and preparation for races from five kilometres to longer endurance events. Competition is encouraged but remains optional.
Monday outings are generally longer social runs, while Wednesday coaching uses hills, intervals and speed work. Members also arrange weekend training, and the club participates in events such as the Cotswold Way Relay. It organises the Fairford 10K alongside the town's festival, with the 2026 edition held on 7 June.
