About Running at 40 Plus
Running at 40 Plus is a running community for people over forty, with a public contact base in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England. Its online network welcomes beginners, returning runners and experienced distance runners, placing encouragement and shared experience ahead of a single performance standard.
The organisation describes itself as a not-for-profit community interest company and supports discussion of mental wellbeing alongside running, events and challenges. Jo Pavey is named as its ambassador. That is a public ambassadorial association, not a claim that she currently races as a registered member of the club.
Membership ranges from a free community option to packages with additional benefits; the reviewed Silver package includes England Athletics affiliation. Newcomers should choose the option that matches their wish to participate socially or register competitively. The contact form and public telephone provide routes for questions. Chesterfield is a contact location, not evidence of a fixed weekly training session at the former street address.
