About Run Alcester
Run Alcester was set up in 2016 in Alcester, Warwickshire, England. Trained Leaders in Running Fitness support newcomers and experienced runners, whether their interest is a sociable few miles or preparation for a longer event. Racing is optional, and the club offers advice for goals from five kilometres upwards.
Monday social runs normally leave Bulls Head Yard at 7pm, with Thursday efforts using the same Alcester meeting point. Wednesday track sessions take place at Stratford-upon-Avon School. These sessions are designed for different abilities, with runners working at their own pace; the ordinary Monday road run has a different format and pace expectation from track intervals.
Runs can be booked through the club app, and membership is not essential for trying the Alcester outings. Track sessions have a separate charge. The public club email is available for choosing a suitable first run. Confirm the booked venue and bring the requested visibility equipment in winter rather than travelling automatically to the Alcester address.
