About Roundhay Runners
Roundhay Runners is based at North Leeds Cricket Club on Old Park Road in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Its year-round programme brings together runners with a range of paces and goals, from sociable five-kilometre outings to longer group runs and structured training.
Tuesday and Thursday sessions meet at 6.50pm for a 7pm start. Tuesdays focus on intervals, hills or tempo work, while Thursdays divide into groups by pace and distance. Trail sessions sometimes use other North Leeds locations. Members use Spond to view and book sessions rather than assuming every advertised option is offered every week.
Prospective members can arrange a taster through the club secretary. Main sessions currently require the ability to run five kilometres continuously at any pace. Although the club has previously offered eight-week beginner courses, its FAQ describes restarting them as a future intention; complete beginners should enquire instead of assuming a course is already running.
