About Riviera Racers
Riviera Racers was founded in 2017 and brings together adult runners around Torbay, Devon, England. Road and trail running are both central to the club, with leaders offering routes from five kilometres upwards and sessions that work on hills or speed. Exploring the Bay and nearby countryside is part of the appeal, rather than always repeating one route.
The club describes Monday and Wednesday evening training, with Thursday outings dedicated to trails. Weekend social runs, trips, a spring AGM and a Christmas awards gathering add to the shared calendar. England Athletics-qualified running leaders support the sessions and undertake additional first-aid training.
Membership is open from age eighteen. Contact the club to arrange a trial and complete the emergency-information form before a first run. Joining information and policies are available online, with competitive England Athletics registration offered separately. Meeting places vary around Torbay, so the retained Paignton directory address should not be used as an assumed assembly point.
