About Reading Roadrunners
Reading Roadrunners brings together runners of different abilities in Reading, Berkshire, England. Members compete individually and in teams, on roads and across country, while social outings and club gatherings are an equally visible part of the programme. Qualified coaches, running leaders and coaching assistants support members with different goals.
Palmer Park Stadium is the base for Wednesday and Friday track training. The published Wednesday programme has afternoon and evening options, while Thursday outings explore changing locations around Reading for a sociable run of roughly an hour. After Wednesday training, members can gather for refreshments at the Reading AC clubhouse; the shared venue does not make the two clubs the same organisation.
Newcomers and returning lapsed members need to book an induction trial through the club's linked membership system. The induction introduces track rules and includes a coached taster session. Do not simply arrive at an ordinary members' training night. Membership and general-secretary email addresses provide separate routes for joining questions and broader club enquiries.
