About Rawmarsh Runners

Rawmarsh Runners became an official running club in 2018, turning a shared interest in getting outdoors into a community organisation in Rawmarsh, Rotherham, England. Its own account names Barbara Hudson-Crownshaw as its founder. The club takes in both road and trail running, with walking groups giving people another way to enjoy the local area together.

Children are included through the RunStars athletics group and the club's involvement with Rosehill Victoria junior parkrun. Local fundraising and community events are part of the club's activities, alongside ordinary training. The emphasis is on encouragement and keeping people involved rather than requiring everyone to move at the same pace.

The membership enquiry form lets prospective participants select Runners, Ramblers or RunStars and request the information needed to join.
